2638 steering problem

I have a 2019 2638 HST looking for help. I have lost a lot of my steering. When I turn right I have to increase my rpm and have to keep turning very fast if I stop front tires go straight. If I turn left it does a lot better but I have to keep turning the wheel or they will start to go straight. The dealer at riverside says it could be the steering cylinder or the hydrostatic steering unit. In any case, will take months to repair due to parts shortage Any ideas the tractor only has 300 hr in it.

Have you had any luck? Mine is starting to do this. And the fuel tank is cracked around the bolt hole insert.
